All Arvay Pugs tested with the PDE Suseptibility test.
Mar 28, 2011

All of our breeding Pugs in residence have had the PDE suseptibility test done. There are 3 categories for the results; N/N which means no markers are found. N/S which means 1 marker is found. S/S which means 2 markers are found. Dogs that test at either N/N or N/S are at low risk of developing PDE. All of our dogs have tested N/N with the exception of one who tested N/S. This is great news! The PDE suseptibility test is a wonderful tool and one that breeders can use going forward in their breeding programs to greatly reduce the risk of producing puppies that may later on develop PDE.
